Olive oil from Picual olives harvested a little earlier. A deliciously fruity 'extra virgin' with an acidity of less than 0.15% and rich in Vitamin E and polyphenols.

Picual = the 'healthiest olive oil', even more than other olive oils strongly lowers cholesterol
Organic extra virgin olive oil of superior quality, first cold pressing directly from fresh and manually harvested Picual olives. Obtained mechanically from ecologically grown olives from our own orchard. Pressed on the same day as the harvest.
In our workshop in Tervuren we blend our oil from different olive varieties into the oil that we bottle in beautiful tin cans.
Characteristics of Picual olive oil
We have made a single variety of olive oil with a golden colour and a bouquet full of fruit such as bananas and figs. Fresh and fruity. With notes of fresh herbs, green almonds and green tomatoes.
The medium intensity of bitterness gives the oil a unique personality.
Another characteristic of Picual olive oil is its high content of (monounsaturated) oleic acid, which can account for more than 80% of its lipid profile. Together with its low content of polyunsaturated fatty acids, this makes Picual olive oil one of the most stable types of olive oil and extremely resistant to oxidation and rancidity.
This makes Picual olive oil excellent for use in high-temperature preparations, as it retains all its qualities even after multiple heating cycles.
