40/5000 Can you cook with extra virgin olive oil?

There have been many cowboy stories in recent years that it is less safe to cook with extra virgin olive oil. However, according to a nutritionist from the Olive Oil Times, the Australian study provides clear evidence that this is not the case. It shows that extra virgin olive oil is safe when heated and is even the most appropriate oil compared to other oils.
A normal olive oil, 2nd pressing or refined can therefore not heat as high as an extra virgin olive oil without the formation of harmful substances and you destroy all the healthy things for our body of olive oil.
An extra virgin olive oil pressed (= early harvest) is usually more fruity and fresher and due to its specific character less suitable for cooking.
In addition, it is of course also a shame if you use a tasty but sometimes expensive extra virgin olive oil to fry and bake. We are going to use extra virgin olive oils of around 20 euros for 250 ml in a nice cold way.
Our La Huerta extra virgin olive oil is made from the first cold pressing of ripe organic olives. Ideal to use for hot and cold preparations. And it only costs 5.5 euros for 250 ml.
